LSU Health Foundation Tornado Relief Fund was established to provide financial assistance to LSU Health New Orleans employees and students for losses due to the tornadoes and severe storms on Tuesday, February 7, 2017. The LSU Health Foundation Tornado Relief Fund is sponsored through the generous donations of LSU Health New Orleans employees, students, alumni and friends. Emergency financial assistance will be based on total funds raised and awarded to the maximum number of applicants.

“Thank you for your generous donations to the LSU Health Foundation Tornado Relief Fund,” says LSU Health New Orleans Chancellor Larry Hollier, MD. “The support of our faculty, staff, students, residents and fellows affected by the tornadoes and severe storms is so meaningful and appreciated. The generosity of donors will go a long way toward helping members of the LSU Health New Orleans family recover and rebuild. In the meantime, we continue to keep those who were affected in our thoughts and prayers.”
